Wet in central and western Mediterranean, drier to the east


Thursday
Rain and cloud for Portugal and northern Spain today. Southern Spain may also see cloud and rain, although eastern areas are likely to be drier and brighter. Heavy periods of rain passing through the Balearics and into Italy. Greece and Turkey should be fai with some good spells of sunshine to come here.
Rather cloudy with further rain affecting much of France. A breezy and cool day for the Low Countries but dry. Germany should be mostly dry with some broken cloud and feeling cool too, with Poland staying dry and bright. Austria and Hungary are likely to be dry with broken cloud, although wet in Switzerland with the rain being heavy here.
Denmark will have broken cloud but some brighter spells too. Rather cloudy for the Baltic States. Breezy in Finland with rain and drizzle. Fair for southern Sweden but some cloud to the north. Wet in western Norway with some stronger winds here.

Friday
Wind and heavy rain in the south of Portugal and Spain today. More northern parts of Portugal and Spain will be dry with sunny spells. Cloud and some rain affecting eastern coasts of Spain and the Balearics too. Rain affects the far north and south of Italy but drier in central areas. Greece should be dry with sunshine throughout, and staying dry and fine in Turkey too.
Windy in northern France with cloud and rain here. Scattered showers in the south of France. Fine in the Low Countries and Germany as well as Poland with sunny spells here. Austria and Hungary as well Switzerland will be cloudy and damp with periods of rain at times.
Sunshine and dry weather in Denmark. Similar conditions for the Baltic States. Cloud and rain arrives through Finland and windy here. Staying wet and windy over the northern half of Sweden with heavy rain, sleet and snow here. Cloudy and damp in Norway, with heavy rain and strong winds here.
