Wet across Spain

Today
Very windy with gales through the channel and across northern France into the Low Countries. Heavy rain is expected across England, The Low Countries, northern France, Spain and Portugal. This moves in across Denmark and northern Germany in the afternoon. Fair and dry across southern Germany, Poland, The Baltic States and across much of the Balkans and the Adriatic Region. Plenty of showers, some heavy are expected from Sardinia eastward into southern Italy and in the central Mediterranean over to near Crete. Fine, dry and sunny across Turkey today. Dry as well across Austria, the Czech Republic and Hungary. Outbreaks of snow spread into Norway but dry across Sweden. Cold with rain and snow across Finland and northern Russia.

More heavy rain to come across England, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, France and Spain today with showers for Portugal. Much of the rain clears Spain in the afternoon. Some rain to come in across western parts of Germany later in the day. Eastern Germany, Poland, The Baltic States, Belarus and The Ukraine remains dry with sunnier spells. Plenty of fine, dry weather is expected from Italy eastward into the Balkans, the Adriatic Region into Turkey. Snow is expected over the Alps. Some heavy showers to come from Scilly to south of Greece. Snow is forecast across Norway and northern Sweden while rain affects southern Sweden and Finland,
