Today
Rather cold across much of Europe with high temperatures below freezing across Scandinavia and eastern parts of Europe. A dry day to come across Portugal and Spain with sunnier spells. Cloudy across France, Belgium and The Netherlands with outbreaks of rain. A number of showers will be around the Balearics, southern Greece and Cyprus. Cold but expect a dry day across Germany, Austria and northern Poland. Outbreaks of snow will affect southern Poland. An area of heavier snow is forecast for the western Ukraine and Romania with heavy rain across the eastern Ukraine. Cold but fair and dry across the Adriatic Region and Bulgaria and Hungary. A few showers are expected across western Turkey with the east fair and dry. Snow flurries are expected across Norway and Sweden with Finland very cold but dry. Strong cyclonic winds will affect south east Europe.

It will less cold across Norway and Sweden as heavy rain spreads in during the day. It does continue very cold across Finland and eastern Europe will snow flurries across Finland. Rain and snow is forecast across the Baltic States with snow across southern Russia and the western Ukraine. Further rain to come across the eastern Ukraine. It will be staying dry across The Adriatic Region and the Balkans with a dry, mostly sunny day. Lots of fine, dry weather as well across Turkey. An area of heavy rain is expected across an area from Italy westward to the Balearics. Fine and dry across Spain and Portugal with sunny spells. Rain across England spread into the Low Counties and Denmark. A dry day of sunny spells to come across France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic and Poland. Strong easterly winds develop through the Straits of Gibraltar.
