Thundery showers moving into north and eastern Europe later in week

Wednesday
Fair for most of Spain and Portugal today. A few showers in the Balearics, some heavy. Thunderstorms affecting most of Italy, Corsica and Sardinia, some of these being torrential. Scattered showers in Greece. Dry in western Turkey but showers in the east.
France will be warm and sunny. Fair for the Low Countries and Germany. Some showers in southern Poland but otherwise fair. Hungary will be dry with sunny spells. Showers for Austria and Switzerland.
Denmark will have a fair day with plenty of sunshine. Staying fine in the Baltic States and Finland with more sunshine here. Sweden will be dry with plenty of sunshine. Scattered showers in southern Norway, but fair to the north.

Thursday
A largely dry and fine day across Spain. Dry and sunny through Portugal. A few passing showers over the Balearics but mostly dry here too. Unsettled across particularly southern regions of Italy with showers and longer spells of rain. Greece will also see heavy showers. Mostly dry across Turkey.
A few developing showers across western France, otherwise dry and fine and feeling very warm. Dry and sunny to across the Low Countries with building heat here. Warm and mostly dry through Germany though some scattered showers in the north. Showery across the Alpine region. Scattered heavy showers across Poland.
One or two showers developing across Denmark though mainly dry here. Scattered showers also across southern Norway, dry otherrwise. Some heavy and possibly thundery showers moving through the Baltics. Dry and fine across Sweden and Finland.
