Many staying dry with sunshine, though at weekend western Europe becoming more showery

Friday
A largely dry and fine day again across Spain, though a few scattered showers look to develop in the far north. Dry and sunny through Portugal. dry and sunny across the Balearics. Many places staying dry across Italy though a few developing showers along the coasts and in the far north. Unsettled in Greece with frequent widespread showers, these approaching parts of Turkey later.
Mainly dry and fine with sunshine across France and the Low Countries. Feeling hot in the sun. West Germany staying dry and fine though the east seeing some developing showers. A few heavy showers in Switzerland. Largely dry across Austria. Scattered showers through Poland though most remaining dry.
One or two showers developing across Denmark though mainly dry here again. Scattered heavy and thundery showers also across southern Norway, dry further north. Some heavy and possibly thundery showers moving through the Baltics. Dry and fine across Sweden and Finland.

Saturday
A largely dry and fine day again across Spain again though developing heavy and thundery showers affect northern counties heading into southwest France. One or two isolated showers across southern areas also. Portugal looks to stay dry as well as the Balearics. Largely dry and fine across Italy. Scattered showers through Greece and Turkey.
Mainly dry and fine with sunshine across France, though heavy showers also in the far northwest. Dry with sunshine and building heat again across the Low Countries. Much of Germany remains dry, though some heavy scattered showers across the northeast. Largely dry and fine with sunshine across Austria and Switzerland. Poland will see sunny spells and scattered showers. Dry through the Balkan States.
One or two showers developing across Denmark again, otherwise dry and fine. The risk of a heavy shower across the Baltics though most should remain dry. Heavy and thundery showers locally across parts of the south and centrally. Largely dry across Sweden and Finland.
