Fine across the Mediterranean

Today
Sunny and hot across Portugal, and Spain, and very warm across much of the Mediterranean and Europe. Lots of fine, summery, sunny weather is expected from Iberia eastward across France. Lots of showers are expected across Finland, the Baltic States, Poland and Germany with a few showers as well across Denmark, Holland and Belgium. Heavy rain to affect western Russia with showers across western parts of the Ukraine, fine and summery in the east. Lots of fine, dry weather today for Sweden and Norway. Sunny and hot across Turkey, Greece, Italy, The Adriatic Region and the Balkans. Strong north to north west winds are expected in the Aegean Sea and through the central Mediterranean. Strong north to north west winds are expected in the Aegean Sea. Gales force easterly winds will prevail in the Straits of Gibraltar. Fine, settled conditions are forecast across the Mediterranean.

Monday
It continues hot, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal and also into France. Scattered, heavy showers with thunderstorms develop across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Heavy showers are expected across western Norway but dry in the east. Lots of dry, sunny weather to come across Sweden. A few showers across parts of Poland but mainly dry. More heavy, thundery showers to affect Finland and The Baltic States while heavy rain affects Russia. Fine, sunny and hot across The Czech Republic, Belarus, The Ukraine, and across much of the Balkans and the Adriatic Region. Very warm, summery conditions are forecast for Greece, Italy, Turkey and Slovenia. Plenty of sunshine to come the Adriatic Region into Turkey and northern Italy. It remains rather windy across the Aegean but less windy through the Straits of Gibraltar and. A windy day as well across Sweden.
