Thundery rain central Europe, drier to the south, showers to the north


Tuesday
Windy with spells of rain across Norway and Sweden with plenty of heavy showers forecast across Finland, northern Russia and The Baltic States.
Lots of showers too across Holland, Denmark and northern parts of Germany. Sunny and continued hot across Spain, Portugal and the south of France, dry across northern France with showers and rain across central France.
Outbreaks of rain are forecast across The Czech Republic and Austria. Fine and sunny for northern parts of Italy while a few heavy thundery showers affect the south and Greece. Very summery across the rest of the Balkans and across the Adriatic Region, Turkey and The Ukraine. Warm with sunny spells and a risk of a few late showers across parts of Poland.

Wednesday
A breezy day in northern Spain and Portugal, but dry with lots of sunshine. Some afternoon thunderstorms forming in eastern Spain and the Balearics. Heavy showers or thudnerstorms in the far north of Italy, but dry for most with sunny spells. Staying dry and sunny across Greece and mostly dry in Turkey too, some decent spells of sunshine here.
Fair with plenty of sunshine in France, a strong Mistral blowing across southern France. Some showers to come in the Low Countries and much of central and western Germany as well as Poland. More persistent rain or thunderstorms in Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
A mix of sunshine and showers in Denmark, but some heavier rain or showers affecting eastern parts of Sweden. Scattered showers and sunny spells for the baltic States and Finland. Sunshine and heavier showers in western Norway.
