Fine and summery across the Mediterranean

Today
It continues very warm, dry and sunny across Spain and Portugal and also into France. Scattered, heavy showers develop across The Low Countries and Germany and Switzerland. Heavy rain is expected across Norway and Sweden. Fine, sunny and hot across Poland, Belarus, The Ukraine, western Russia and across much of the Balkans. A few late heavy showers may develop across Greece, southern Italy and Slovenia. Plenty of sunshine to come the Adriatic Region into Turkey and northern Italy. Gale force easterly winds will affect the Straits of Gibraltar and quite windy across the Aegean. A windy day as well across Scandinavia. Fine, settled conditions are forecast across the Mediterranean.

Tuesday
Windy with spells of rain across Norway and Sweden with plenty of heavy showers forecast across Finland, northern Russia and The Baltic States. Lots of showers too across Holland, Denmark and northern parts of Germany. Sunny and continued hot across Spain, Portugal and the south of France, dry across northern France with showers and rain across central France. Outbreaks of rain are forecast across The Czech Republic and Austria. Fine and sunny for northern parts of Italy while a few heavy thundery showers affect the south and Greece. Very summery across the rest of the Balkans and across the Adriatic Region, Turkey and The Ukraine. Warm with sunny spells and a risk of a few late showers across parts of Poland. Strong easterly winds will persist through the Straits of Gibraltar.
