A spell of wet weather for Iberia over the coming days while the Alps could see further heavy snow and rainfall on Friday
Wet in Portugal and in northern and western Spain on Thursday with the risk of more snow on the hills. Fair for the Balearics but breezy. A wet day for Sardinia with showers in Corsica. Showers too in western Italy, drier in the east. Heavy rain for western parts of Greece and Turkey but drier and brighter in eastern areas.
Heavy showers or longer spells of rain affecting much of France, heaviest in the west. Breezy and mostly fair in the Low Countries. Germany and Poland should be dry with sunny spells though western parts of Germany may see some light scattered snow showers. Scattered wintry showers for western Switzerland but mainly dry and fair for Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Scattered snow showers for Denmark, easing through the afternoon. Mainly bright and dry for the Baltics. Dry but overcast for Finland. Overcast too for Sweden and Norway with snow showers moving into southern areas through the morning.
A mixture of sunny spells and heavy wintry showers across Iberia on Friday with the heaviest rain in the south of Spain. Wet too for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia with Corsica seeing some particularly heavy rain. Heavy rain and snow for northern Italy and along the west coast too. Heavy rain too for the western Balkans while western fringes of Greece and Turkey may see some light showers too but should be mostly dry and bright.
Wet and overcast for much of France while the Low Countries should remain dry but overcast. Heavy rain and snow for Switzerland and western Austria. Overcast but mostly dry for Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland.
Denmark will be mostly overcast with some light snow through the early afternoon while scattered snow showers will move northward across the Baltics through the day. A mostly dry day for Finland with snow moving into southern fringes through the afternoon. Snow for central parts of Sweden and southeastern parts of Norway. Dry elsewhere.
