Wet central Mediterranean, drier and cooler to the east

Tuesday
An area of heavy rain across England moves into northern France later in the day. This may also affect the far north of Spain but most of Spain and Portugal will be mostly sunny and dry. Fair and dry across central and southern France along with the Balearics.
Frequent, heavy showers persist around Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily. Further heavy spells of rain are expected across Italy and the Adriatic Region with snow over the Alps. Under high pressure much of eastern Europe will be rather cold but settled. Lots of fair, dry weather is expected across The Balkans, Greece, Turkey, The Ukraine, Poland and across the Baltic States into Finland and Russia.
Fine and dry as well into Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and across Belgium and The Netherlands. Cyclonic winds remain quite strong in the central Mediterranean.

Wednesday
Cloud and some rain in the north of Spain. Fair elsewhere with good spells of sunshine. Showers for the Balearics and across much of Italy, these showers heavy at times. Greece will also have some showers, these heavy with Turkey being dry with good spells of sunshine.
France will be cloudy and damp in the west with periods of rain, less wet in the east. The Low Countries and northern Germany seeing an odd shower but it will be drier to the south. Poland wil be bright and mostly dry here. Rain and cloud for Switzerland and Austria.
Denmark should have a fine day with good spells of sunshine here. Chilly in the Baltic States and dry. Similar weather in Finland with dry weather for all. Cloud and some patchy rain in western parts of Norway.
