Wet and windy northern Europe, dry and sunny to the south


Friday
Fair for Spain and Portugal today. Staying fair into the central Mediterranean too. Some showers in central parts of Italy, although it will be mainly fair. Greece and Turkey should be dry with good spells of sunshine.
Rather cloudy over northern and western France with osme rain here. Drier in the south with sunny spells. A dry day in the Low Countries. Some rain passing into central Germany, this affecting Poland too. A few showers in southern Hungary. Cloud and some periods of rain through Switzerland and Austria.
Windy in Denmark and dry. Rain and strong winds in the Baltic States, this unsettled weather for Finland as well. Some sleet and snow in central and northern Sweden. Norway will have cloud and strong winds as well as some rain, sleet and snow showers.


Saturday
Another fine day to come through Portugal and Spain. Lots of sunshine in the central Mediterranean too, with dry and sunny weather in Italy. Greece and Turkey will be dry again with more sunshine throughout the day.
Rain in northern France, but dry to the south with sunny spells. A windy and wet day in the Low Countries and Germany, gales in the north. Wet too in Poland and windy here. Hungary will be dry with sunny spells whilst a few spots of rain affect Austria and Switzerland.
Windy and wet for Denmark. The rain spreading into the baltic States. Finland may be cool withu a few sleet or snow showers. Some rain or snow in the far south of Sweden, otherwise a dry day. Wintry showers affecting Norway, most of them through northern areas.
