Windy, unsettled in the Mediterranean

Today
A cold day across much of Europe but across the south of Spain temperatures reach the low twenties. Lots of dry, sunny weather prevails across Portugal and Spain today. A band of rain will affect central France with the north and south fine and dry. Sunny across the Balearics, Sardinia and Italy. Outbreaks of heavy snow are expected across The Alps into Austria. Lots of dry weather to come across the Adriatic Region except for a few afternoon showers. Heavy showers to come across Greece but drier for the afternoon. A number of heavy showers to affect Turkey today. A cloudy day across Germany with showers while heavier rain is expected across Poland and the Baltic States which will be mixed with snow. Wet too across The Ukraine with heavy snow forecast across northern Russia and Finland. Cold but dry with sunny spells for Sweden and much of Norway. Occasional showers are likely across Denmark, The Netherlands and Belgium.

Monday
It continues cold across Europe today. An area of rain is expected from Britain into Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark and Germany. Another cold day to come across Norway, Sweden and Finland but it's dry More snow is likely across Russia. Cold with mix of rain, sleet and snow across Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic. A fine day is expected across Italy and the Adriatic Region. Snow is forecast across parts of Romania and the western Ukraine with rain in the east. Very unsettled across Turkey. Mainly dry across Greece with just a few showers but quite a few showers are likely across the eastern Mediterranean where it will be quite windy. High pressure will give France and Spain a dry, sunny day. Pleasantly warm across southern parts of Iberia.
