Generally dry around the Med.
Shallow low pressure is focused around southern France and northern Spain, with some showers likely in these areas. Fair for most of Iberia with lots of sunshine, highs 22C west, but topping 30C in eastern Spain. Fair in the central Mediterranean although local showers in northwest Italy. Greece should be dry with lots of sunshine although some thundery showers afecting central and eastern Turkey.
Heavy, thundery showers forming in central-eastern parts of France. Sunshine and a few showers for the Low Countries. Mainly fair through Germany. Fine with plenty of warm sunshine in Poland. A fair day too in Hungary and through Austria and Switzerland. Widely hot across eastern Europe, topping 30C in many countries.
Slack pressure for Scandinavia. Some showers affecting Denmark and southern Norway & Sweden. Fair for most of Finland and the far north, whilst showers trouble the east of the Baltic States.
Dry and warm across Spain and Portugal, plus southwest France. Fair weather extends across the central Med into the Balkans. Thundery showers breaking out for Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey. Very warm temperatures continue to affect much of eastern Europe.
A trough of low pressure over western Europe brings areas of rain and possible thunderstorms to central-eastern France and the western Alps. Bursts of rain extend north across the Low Countries and northern Germany toward Denmark. Dry weather for the eastern Alps, much of central-southern Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland.
High pressure builds over Scandinavia, leaving many places dry and warm. Temperatures topping 25C for southern Sweden. A chance of thundery rain encroaching into the far south of Norway and Sweden later in the day. Becoming windy ahead of this rain too.
