Drier and brighter conditions for western Europe as low pressure moves away to the east
Sunday is a mostly dry and bright for Spain and Portugal. Any early showers over the Balearics should quickly clear to leave a sunny day here too. Showers again affecting Corsica and Sardinia where it will be breezy while there will be some heavy bursts of rain for the northern half of Italy and the Balkans. Windy here too. Showers through the day for Greece and Turkey, some of which will be heavy, but these should clear by the evening.
A mostly bright day for France with some scattered showers in the northeast which will also affect Benelux. Bright with scattered showers too for Germany, most of these concentrated in the northwest but spreading to the southeast later. Scattered showers for Switzerland and Austria with further snowfall over the Alps. A wet day for Slovakia, Hungary and southern Poland. Drier for northern Poland.
Bright with some showers later for Denmark. Mostly bright too for Norway, Sweden and Finland though there will be some scattered showers which may be wintry in nature.
Monday will be a dry day for Iberia though cloud will build over Portugal and spread eastward across Spain through the day. Dry and sunny for the Balearics, Corsica and Sardinia. Heavy showers will clear to the south over Italy through the day leaving dry and bright conditions to the north. Heavy showers too for northern parts of Greece, dry and sunny in the south and for Turkey.
A dry day for France where high cloud will build from the northwest turning the sun hazy. Scattered showers will affect the Low Countries and spread across northern Germany later too. Dry and bright in southern Germany. Snow will ease over the Alps to leave a sunny, dry day in Switzerland. Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary may be rather overcast with a few scattered showers.
Periods of rain and showers for Denmark on Monday while the Baltic States should stay mostly dry and fair. Showers will continue to affect southern parts of Norway and Sweden spreading into southwest Finland at times too. Between the showers there should be some good sunny spells.
