Flooding risk in south-east Spain

Saturday
High pressure resides across central Europe, bringing extensive dry weather. A brisk easterly wind affects the Mediterranean. Prolonged and heavy falls of rain affect south-east Spain and also Sicily. However, much of Italy, plus southern France and also Portugal should be dry and bright, highs 13 to 16C. Scattered showers for Greece - cool and windy across the Aegean Sea.
A good deal of sunshine for central Europe, although some low level fog is possible. Chilly across Germany, the Alps and eastern Europe - temperatures near or below freezing for many countries, whilst France will be milder at 8 to 13C. A west to south-westerly flow influences Scandinavia, bringing rain to western Norway, but areas around the Baltic will stay dry.

Sunday
A strong easterly wind affects Spain, and continued heavy rain is expected for south-eastern coastal areas, where flooding is possible. Elsewhere across Iberia, it will be largely dry. Fair weather extends across central Europe and the Mediterranean as high pressure remains in charge. Some sunshine for Greece , but feeling cool. Heavy rain may affect Cyprus in the early hours, but should clear.
Chilly across eastern Europe, but milder toward the west. A good amount of sunshine for France, Germany and the Alps, but some low level fog may persist. Generally cloudy around the Low Countries, and patchy drizzle may affect North Sea coasts. A zone of patchy rain moves from southern Sweden to northern Poland and the Baltic states, turning to snow inland over the mountains of eastern Europe. Brightening up for southern Norway and Sweden, but rain moves into western Norway.
