Staying hot in southwest Spain & Portugal
High pressure will be centred around the North Sea, whilst low pressure lies over the central Mediterranean. Cool temperatures across central-eastern Europe. Dry for France, the Low Countries, plus Spain and Portugal - very warm in the southwest of Iberia, topping 30C. A strong easterly wind for the Alps and southern France. A few showers are possible for eastern Germany.
Very wet for the Balkans and central-southern Italy, with cool temperatures and snow over the mountains. Flooding is likely from prolonged rainfall in some areas. Heavy showers too for Greece, although the Greek Islands, plus the eastern Mediterranean mostly dry and sunny. Southern Scandinavia will be dry with sunny spells. A few showers for northwest Norway. Showery too for eastern Europe.
High pressure stays to the north, and an easterly wind continues for central Europe, with extensive dry weather in the north and west. Another hot and sunny day for Spain and Portugal, into the 30s again for western regions. Warm too in south & southwest France, around 25C. Cooler across central Europe, 10 to 15C for Germany, but only single figures in places for Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia where rain will be frequent, and snow will affect the mountains.
Showery rain for southern Italy and Greece, and some persistent falls for the southern Balkans. Mostly dry around the Black Sea. Dry for much of Norway and Sweden, highs 15 to 18C. Cooler with patchy rain and mountain snow in northern Norway.
