Cold and windy with rain or showers in Scandinavia, staying warm and sunny in the Mediterranean


Thursday
Staying fine and sunny across most of Spain and Portugal on Thursday. It wil be a fine day too in the Balearics. Much of Italy will be dry and sunny, although a few showers could affect the northwest. Greece and Turkey will be enjoying autumn sunshine and will be warm too.
A cooler day in France with sunshine in the south but rain in the north. Breezy with more rain pushing south through the Low Countries and Germany as Poland becomes wet and cold. Turning cooler in Austria and Hungary as wel as Switzerland but staying dry.
A cold and showery day in Denmark with strong winds. Mostly dry in Norway, but heavy showers will merge into longer spells of rain in the Baltic States. Finland will be unsettled with heavy showers.


Friday
Dry with sunny spells in Spain and Portugal through today. Italy will have some showers in the east but western areas should be staying dry. Greece should be dry and warm overall and it is going to be staying dry and sunny as well as warm in Turkey.
France will start misty but will then become dry with good spells of sunshine. Showers for the Low Countries and Germany, although some rain in central and southern Germany as well as parts of Poland. Austria, Hungary and Switzerland will be cloudier with some showers and rain here.
Breezy and chilly in Denmark although much of southern Norway and southern Sweden should be dry. Some showers for the west of Norway and further showers or longer spells of rain are forecast for the Baltic States. Fewer showers in Finland although staying chilly here.
